I am going to the OSM race in Columbus tomorrow, then Mother's Day is Sunday. Next weekend is pool weekend, I am committing myself to getting that damn thing up and running.

The first and only year that we did attend WFC (St. Louis) was a blast! Of course, we almost got thrown out of our hotel room, Kevin puked over the railing, Brian and Katie's dog barked all night, and nobody would open the curtains so Kyle could see (you had to be there).

    Maybe next year.....

I was trying to decide from 10hr tow to atco or WFC 100miles from home. So far Indy is winning.

I'd choose Indy just so I wouldn't have to drive the damn turnpike with a trailer.

I may head up on Sunday to watch eliminations.

    Talking WFC X....

Wow... what a wait in the tech lanes yesterday...
It was chilly/windy... Today was quite a bit better...
got back to my usual 60' but had the 2-step set too low and
    slightly bogged...

I'm starting to realize what a difference a street/drag radial tire
car in front of you makes vs. a slick tire car...

I thought Edgewater was questionable as far as traction but
    I'm not saying anything anymore...

    Just my opinion:

Thursday= day to tech cars in and eat potato chips...
Friday= day to tech more cars in and make some mediocre
passes... prep the track as needed...

Thought I'd share this with you all as well..
On my 2nd or 3rd pass, I was in the staging lanes and getting
ready to swing out to make the roll towards the burnout box and
this track worker was telling another racer.. "Yeah, these guys have
been cuttin' pretty good lights but put me behind the wheel... and
I'll go double 0 every time...."

    Hilarious!
    90' lx coupe.... stock cam'd explorer combo.. 11.80 @ 113

99' Cobra.... work in progress..... cold air... and a free catback... 12.93 @ 107.3mph on Sumitomo tires- (1.89 60')...
