just wanted to let you know that the bell housing doesn't seperate from the trans. it's all meant to be one piece. if you take the bellhousing off you will have a mess with trans fluid and you will expose all the internals. It's not made to be seperated like a T-5.

Not true enless I was told wrong on the year. This trans is almost identical to the T-5 in my 93 accept that it has a magnetic pick up for the speedo instead of a gear. The bellhousing is retained by 4 bolts. If you have any ideas as to the trans year and make I am interested to hear it. I help to remove the trans from a 99 6 cylinder Mustang and it says Tremec on the side and it is a 5 speed.
