Project Super Snake...not the new stang just mine

    Gotta get some opinions here.
    Got a 97 cobra
with exhaust and x pipe, no headers...yet...
But winter is here and i need to do the build.
    So im thinking
4.10 or 3.73 gear (3.73) if i decide to go vortech
    31 spline axels
    and limited slip

    JLT cold air intake
    new throttle body
    and 90mm mass air

or just save up and get the vortech now

Couple of friends say spray would be good
but im not a big fan of it , i guess its because i dont know too much about it

But if someone on here could give some suggestions, i know its my car and i do what i want with it. But its always good to get some opinions on what to do . So just hit this post up , and let me know what you think is best.
    Thanks

Do the upgrade on the rear and reinforce the torque boxes and sub frame connectors. Then when you do add a power adder you won't be sidelined
    form broken drivetrain parts.

If you make small upgrades now you can track your results.Add to much power now and be broke the car and your wallets.

+1. The 96-98 cobras struggle with low end torque and the 4.30s def minimize that problem and keep ya in the usable rpm range. If you don't wanna go that steep don't go any lower than a 4.10 though. Got 4.30s on my 97 and i love them.

I've got most of the upgrade you listed on my 96 Cobra, but no supercharger. I've got 4.10 gears and think they're about perfect.

I just bought a 31-spline carrier and buying axles early next week. Are you doing the work yourself?

I think 4.30 gears would be way to low for a supercharger....but if you think or know you wouldn't be get on then continue on. I have a feeling your not on to stay the coarse for the long haul.
