Plan b is to finish plan a
Just read in 5.0 mag, that the later 99-04 PI heads and intake on a 96-98 shortblock will have more static compression because of the combustion chamber/piston configuration. More power I guess??????

putting PI (99+) heads/cams/intake on a non pi (98-) shortblock will yield the best set up on a budget. it raises compression and increases flow. you should see about 250+ with a good intake and exhaust
