    Ponyman's BEER Review!!!

Today I give my opinion on a few of Leinenkugel Brewing Co. beers.

    First beer- Leinenkugel's Sunset Wheat

Great beer. I can drink a lot of this stuff. Derek Kernodle got me started drinking this stuff in Bowling Green at the NMRA race last year.
Great as a draft with a slice of orange, or right outa the bottle.
    It gets two thumbs up.

    Second beer- Leinenkugel's Apple Spice

I tried a sixer of this around Thanksgiving and did not really like it.
It taste like someone diluted your beer with apple juice. hell nah.
I stoumached through two, but I still have 4 going bad in the fridge after four months. I cant bring myself to dump them, but I dont want to drink them.
Dont waste your time on this one...unless you like Zima or something.

    Third beer- Leinenkugel's Honey Weiss

    pronounced "honey Wise"
I just tried this for the first time tonight and its pretty good.
at 4.5% alcohol it will get the job done with a good taste. I herd you can try it with a slice of lemon, but I didnt have a lemon hanging out waiting to get sliced up. I say try it, go get a six pack!

Im going to try the Summer Shandy here soon.

Leinenkugel's Sunset Wheat is awesome. Rachel and I get it all the time. We were going to see if we can get a half barrel of it for our basement warming party. Not sure if they have it available though - need to check party source!

    Interesting reviews Matt.
I just have a hard time drinking a beer where they suggest putting slices of fruit in it!

The worst hangover in recent memory came from a buddy and I drinking a Sunset wheat 6pack and a Honey weiss 6pack. Throw in a bottle or two of Dundee Honey wheat and that is all we drank that night. We drank over a 4 or 5 hour period, so it wasn't a chug fest. They did go down easy and tasted good, but I wouldn't advise drinking past a 6 pack. Maybe it was the sweetness.....I don't know, but that hangover is in my top 5 worst ever.
On the other side of things +1 for the Yeungling! Good stuff if only it was local!!

Sunset Wheat is one of my favorite beers. I tried the Summer Shandy last year. It was different, but I think I'm going to try it again this year to form a true opinion. I just bought a 6-pack of Landshark yesterday, man that is some good stuff!! I seem to like the "island" style beers...Corona, Miller Chill and now Landshark.

I love Sunset Wheat. For some reason, the smell reminds me of fruity pebbles.

My new favorite though has got to be Shock Top!!!
