What size tire for my 15x6's

trying to figure out what size for my semi-skinnies

on the back i'm gonna be doing the 325/50/15's on the 12" wheels

i'm gonna do 15x6's just to get a little better handling and brakin on the street,

plus i'm big as hell and need the support, rofl

    ne way,

what size ya think, i know the rears will be about 28" tall,

a 185/65/15 will be about 24.5" high, think thats about right or do i need to try to find something taller. that section width should be about 7.3"

    input?

I would get as close to a 26" tall tire especially with a 28 on the back.

You getting it mini-tubbed? Biggest rear rim you can fit on a foxbody is 15x10 with minitubing it.

i am doing a minitub, i guess im getting mixed info, some say i can do a 12" wide, now jeff says no

but if the 325 will fit on the 10 and go under, i would think it's about the same width (tire) almost

I just sold my 15x12 Bogarts and they had 8in b/s on a stock width rear and mini tub. If you narrow the rear you will need to adjust accordingly.

I took it for a drive down the street the other day. I think I'm gonna switch cams. It acts real lazy in the lower rpms and has only 2-3" of vacuum at idle. I don't know the specs on it but my first impression is it will not work very well for a street car. So I'm gonna start investigating on something a little more street friendly.

Terry the 15x12's thru Bogart are $430ea for the D-10's. They pretty much custom build all their wheels so all you have to do is call them directly. However I would narrow your rear if you are gonna mini tub it. I'm sure Rob will tell you exactly the b/s you need.
