    Penguin Encounter @ Newport Aquarium

Very very very cool. You can buy a penguin encounter ticket for an additional $20 and get to go behind the scenes and hang out with them for about a half an hour. I know the price might be a bit high, but part of it goes to saving them during oil spills and such. The penguins were awesome, they would come up to you, let you pet them, run around, poop a lot, etc. It's a fun hang out that strays from the normal dinner and movie.

That is cool! I'd take my grandson done there for that. Is that a continuous kind of thing or just for a limited time?

I'd be nervous to eat fish and chips at a place that's next door to an aquarium. You might be eating one of the troublemakers.

I'm not sure how long it goes on. I found it on the website and you have to make reservations in advance. You don't get to hang out with penguins everyday. Ha after that we went down and ate at Joe's Crab Shack.
