    95 Gt TKO Swap

Ok I have talked to a couple people here and there about what to do with the cross member to make my TKO fit. I have everything sitting on my shop floor and I have no idea what they were talking about I was told to cut off a plate and weld it on a little futher back there is no plate to cut off. I also need a 3/4 shim.......any ideas

You should be able to buy one to allow the swap. I have a 600 and that's what I did....

I believe they are talking about the crossmember.I had to do it when i put my 3550 in my car.If you re-use the factory x-member than you have to cut or grind out the spot welds on the end of the tubes.Hang on,i have mine right here.Ill take a pic.

94-95's are different than fox's the crossmember will not slide. I used a piece of 1/4" steel and drilled holes for the trans and then holes for the mount...it just offsets the mount back. I then made some shims to get it back up to the t-5 height. It's best to take a measurement from the tailshaft center to the body then shim the new trans to that measurement.

I cut mine, but i guess those are different.I have 1/4" plate at my dads if you want it.I used it for some aftermarket seats i had mounted.
This is what i did to mine.

I would size them down but my comp is running slower than hell.
