so a project thread is in order for my new toy.
wont be that big of a project to start but in the end. im sure it will be. started talking with my dad and he suggested 5 lugging it and 5 speed swap this winter/spring

so. looks like 5 lugging it is first on the to do list this winter.

but for now i picked up my other set of tires from storage. set of turbines with road race tires on the. ill be mounting the other tires on them from the wheels that are on the car.

so a few starter pics.

how i bought it.

Ryan i hate to say it, but thats a step up from the 88. I know you worked your ass off on it but the 89 is a damn good car for what you paid for it. Already has mass air too! Just think what you can do with this car with the same time and effort you spent on the 88! Good Luck, Good find!

ok so i got a little sidetracked today from this chick so i didnt get much done. so more for tomm!

cleaned and waxed.. :shrug:

such little tires.. looks like a 4x4!

tips are coming off tomm..im breaking out the grinder!

tomm i will drain the headlight and seal it back up for now. weird.

seats.
i dont think the guy had many friends.... seats are still very nice.

i need an ash tray door btw... so gotta find one.

now as soon as is registered. insured and i swap the tires i can drive it. till then

got the street tires mounted on the turbines.
got the nasty tips off.
polished it some more.
and put 98 miles on it today =] making sure its ready for the drive to the cruise in and back!

so things to do....to many.
i need to detail and get a few things in the engine bay cleaned up. its so dirty right now.
need to get some center caps for the wheels for the time being.

and a new exhaust...i hate the turbos on there with a passion.

only pic i have. i get real busy doing things to the car then go drive then its to dark to take decent pics! so tomm better pics.

and my 5 lug swap parts...free btw...

I checked out your car at the cruise in. Looks even better in person. Have fun with it and rack up the top down miles while you can. LOL
