    Need wheel help.

I am getting a set of draglites this weekend. I need to purchase tires for the back set. They are 15x8 w/ 4.5 back space and will be mounted to a 86 stang with no massaging. Nor do I want to massage it. I thought someone told me a 275 50 will fit without issue on an 8" rim but not on a 10". Is that right? I don't want any rubbing at all. Also if I have to go with a 255, is there anyone still making a 255/50-15 drag radial? I know summit doesn't have anything. Only 60's. How tall is that in inches? I am hoping Ican run a 275/50-15.

I had 15x8s 4.5 Back Spacing try to keep the tires shorter or you will have problems with the tires rubbing the fender lip. I had 275-60-15s on mine. (28x9") I would try to find a tire that was close to 26" x 9"

a 275/50/15 would be a 26x10.5 a P255/60R15 would be close to a 27 x 9 tire You still might need to massage the fenders a little but I think they would fit decent Check out http://www.mickeythompsontires.com/s...ETStreetRadial for fit

So 5.5" is the back space I need? That sucks because these wheels are mint. I thought for some reason it was 4.5". I guess I'll have to get my deposit.
