    94 GT n/a 347 project

I bought this car last summer as a non rolling body for 1k. Its a 94 black on black GT with 60k on it. The guy I bought it from used it as a donar car for his factory five cobra. I just got the car back from Plated and he did an awesome job on the body work and paint! For a drive train I have a 347 stroker that is ready to go in and a barley used TKO II. The HP goal for the car is 400rw and the ET goals are high 10's. Its going to take some seat time and alot of trial and error to hit the 10sec mark i'm sure. I expect the car will be around the 12.00 to 11.50 mark the first few times out but 10.99 is the target. After that i'm planning on a new block and some sort of power adder. Here is a list of parts that I have so far

-347 all forged internals Eagle crank and Eagle H beam rods and SRP flat top pistons nearly 11:1comp
    -Stage 3 Trickflow cam
-Edelbrock Victor Jr heads and Victor 5.0 intake
    -Accufab 75R TB
    -42lb injectors
    -Mac 1 3/4 shortys and 3'' prochamber
    -Mishimoto aluminum radiator
-TKO II with pro 5.0 shifter
    -UPR rear pro kit
    -UPR K member kit
    -UPR cc plates
    -Weld Prostars

I'm leaving out alot of the little things, but thats most of it. I still need a few small things like mufflers and ud pullies to get it running. To get it driving I need to get the rear end built. If I stay motivated there is no reason it should not be on the track by July sometime. Here are a few pics I will update as I go!

Car looks awesome!! My 347 w/ the same heads and a little less compression but more agressive cam made 402 to the wheels so I would say you should be able to get there no problem.

The car is at home in my garage now. I love having it here at home. Its a lot more fun to be able to go out and work on it whenever I want. A few days ago I put the engine and trans in. I got most of the wiring hooked up just need to change the plugs for the TPS and the IAC. I bought a new set of front tires and got them mounted on the prostars and also got my slicks mounted. 26x10s look tiny on it for some reason. I might get a pair of 28x10.5s for it next time. I also mounted the tach. I have to figure out what i'm going to do about a cold air intake and buy some underdrive pullies then I can fire it up.

What rear gears are you running? With 26" tires you will probably want 4.30's, 28's will want 4.56's.

I was planning on a 4.30 but maybe a 4.56. I really dont like the way it looks with the 26x10s on it so i'm not sure what i'm going to do. I should probably just run the 26s and the 4.30 until I go power adder then make the change to 28x10.5s and probably 3.55s.
