Im not opposed to trying one, im just tired of changing things and going slower. Everycar is different, you picked up with a victor, a victor killed plated's car. Some of the fastest stock block 302's run a breadbox upper, a breadbox killed my car.

I wouldnt call my thinking old school. Matching ports and keeping velocity up only makes sense. A victor is tailored for high rpms. I shift this piece at 5500.

I don't mean any disrespect Walter but I've never put one on any combo and slowed down. My combo was stock block 302 elderbrock 1.94s b 303, victor efi c4 15lbs mpt70. 1.46 60ft. 9.94@ 139.98

None taken. Ive tried several things in an effort to pick up with no sucess. Now simply returning to my original setup has yielded the best results. Looks as if yours made a bit more power.

I was thinking with a new set of rubber mine was going to go 9.70s. I took it back to CincySpeed and they put an additional 70rwhp in it and then I got in trouble in Louisville and got rid of it. My buddy has it now and he took it to Gary Rohe and had him redo the chassis and wiring and it now has a 29x11.5w on it so it should bring the mail

Pump gas or race gas when it went 9.94?

I would never put pump gas in it. I never wanted a chance for it to detonate. It made 550 even on the 9.94 i took it back and put some timing in it and it made 619 never got to see if it would run any better

i believe everyone on the lists is a regular contributor on the site. when i notice low post counts, i look. if there is another that doesn't fit, feel free to point them out

First off, being "registered" on the site does not qualify you. Being a participating member qualifies you.

Period. We won't have all the drama at the end of the year like we had last year. Post, particate, hit the cruises.

I do believe we squeaked flyin on the list last year, but not the year before.

He's got 9 posts this year. And 5 or 6 of them are classifieds. 3 or 4 posts do not make you a participating member. Again, he has 3 months to start participating more, make the fall cruise.
