Exactly and that was exactly why I sold off everything because I could see me getting a dart block, then a more radical custom of mine, then pumping up the boost, then porting the heads, and where would it end for my 'crusier'? lol. But yeah, those internals are screaming for a solid block. We'll get you there.
Well not sure what cam you bought but if it's the stage 2 I would either return it or sell it off. That's what I am running right now with my 347 and my car peaks around 5700. I am running AFR 185's out of the box that I bought from Mike last year. I am running a Victor 50 intake and that stage 2 cam just doesn't have enough duration on the intake side. Mike and Matt told me this when I told them what I was putting together but I was in a pinch at the time and just kept the stage 2 out of my old motor. I have been shifting at 5800 and running 11.40's@118 with 1.47-1.49 60's. Now last week I couldn't hit 4th gear to save my life and I was running 11.50-11.70's@116. Just my .02 on the stage 2 cam. I would either keep what you have and go with the supercharger or turbo. Or I would go with a stage 3 or a custom grind.

Yeah I had picked up the TFS Stage 2 cam but after tossin it around in my head I decided to go ahead and post it for sale on here and Im ready to add the boost! Your car is just bad ass Steve. I hope mine runs as well. I cant wait to get it to the track and see what it does. Im hopin for some 11.80`s or 90`s.
when r u going 2 the track ill have my junker there Thursday i hope it don't back firer again i put mine out before it burnt done.
I'm sure Ill have to work this week but I want to get it there soon. I want to make a few passes before the May 9th OSM race so I can see how it does then run it in the stick class.
If it catches fire like that dont plan on them putting it out. They told Matt "Theres a fire extinguisher in the truck" and he had to do it hisself.

Well got tomorrow off work and the car is ready. Will be at Kil-Kare tomorrow for some test n tune action. Ill post up numbers then. Hopin for some 11.80`s or so.
I finally got to make a couple passes tonight at Kil-Kare and was pretty happy. I ran deadly consistent and went a 12.0625@112.08 and a 12.0645@111.50. Not bad for the first time out and only about 25 street miles on it. It has more in it but the rear end seems to be making some noise so I decided to load it up for the night and bring it home. Thanks Mike and DP!!!
