    motor swap

I want to take a motor out of a 5 speed 2.3 and put it in an automatic 2.3.
    Is this pretty straight forward

Yeah, what he said, should be straight forward, just remove the pilot bearing in the back of the crankshaft, and swap flexplate for flywheel and remember to use the flexplate bolts on the new engine, not the flywheel bolts, they will hit the rear main cap if you reuse the flywheel bolts to hold the flexplate on, they are much longer.
