    Combo info: '95 GTS 170k stock shortblock/twisted wedge heads/systemax intake/stock cam/1.7 RR/75 maf/75 t. body/novi 1000/fresh 2.95 T-5/3.73 gear. Went 11.7's last year with stock engine/novi 1000, so i'm hoping to break into the 10's with this combo.

    Just out of curiosity, what's your tire set up gonna be? Slicks or some meat Drag Radials?
    1988 Mustang-306 with Twisted Wedge heads, TFS Track heat intake, Anderson N-41 Cam, 1.6 roller rockers, Ron Davis aluminum radiator, full exhaust, and full bolt on's.

    I had been running 26x8.5 slicks but with the extra power(higher mph) I thought about going with 28x9 or 10.5 slicks. I also have a set of 275/60 bfg drag radials I will be trying out. Just hope the tranny will last a season.

    I was seeing 9-10# before the heads/intake/rockers, so I would think it will be a little less than that now. I will be getting it tuned as soon as possible, hopefully before it hits the track. pulleys are: lower-8" upper 3.25"

    yea you definitely increased flow. I run a 6.5 lower and 2.78 upper. spins mine to right about 48-49,000cfm. Id rather go with a larger lower and upper, although I dont see much belt slip.

    My 88lx I guess will run 13.8 on street tires.
    Mods include
    explorer intake
    smog pump removed
    tubular k member
    chassis engineering upper and lower control arms
    3:55 gears
    I am mostly glad my pos 4cyl to v8 swap is done.

    Well I have a few ifs here. Like will it be my coupe, with a 5 speed and tuned for a relativity mild street tune, or will it be another car that I am working on trading for....we will see. One way or another I want to be at the track more this year!
