Hopefully I tracked down the problem. I turned my idle mixture screws all the way in and nothing. Cars running really rich at idle. Time to track down a new power valve in the morning. Hopefully it makes a big difference. Hopefully someone has one in stock so I can run some TnT.

Went to TnT tonight. Best run was:

    60' 1.747
    1/8 8.487
    1/4 13.280
    MPH 102.42

Nothing to brag about, but it did better than I thought it would and it was my first time. I must say, I'm hooked. I'm already wanting that 12.999999.

Would switching from my 600 cfm vacuum secondaries carb to a 650 Double Pumper be beneficial to my combo? Also might go with 4.30s over the winter.

Haven't updated in quite some time. I've found a few deals on some used junk and made a few changes. Bolted on a set of old Trick Flow Twisted Wedge 170 heads and switched to a new 650cfm mechanical secondaries carb. My main focus this winter has been drivetrain. My goal is to drive to the track and run on sticky tires without worrying about breaking. I acquired a TKO600 with CF dual friction clutch. I am also upgrading to a set of Moser 31 spline axles and 31 spline trac lok.

I bet that will make a little bit of a difference!!!

Switching over to fuel injection also. Going with a stock computer and harness or an aftermarket set up?

Gotcha. Ive never ran the Megasquirt but there are people out there that like it. As long as it is fairly easy to tune, you should be good.

Post back with how you like it etc.....I'm thinking of an aftermarket EFI for my 93, some seem overly complex to me, but I'm not the brightest for sure

If you want easy to tune and simple to install check out thed stinger performance PiMP XS ecu I am running it in my turbo notch. Tunerstudio is really user friendly
