Budget build 31 Model A rat rod

I know its not a Mustang, but it is a Ford! I have had this pick up for a while and I am finally wanting to see it turn into something! Figured Id do a budget built old rat rod just to drive and enjoy.

Its gonna be pretty simple and I want to spend the least amount as possible and do most of the work myself. Will just be using a 302 and a C4. Im going to try the chop and channel myself with some help from friends! Also I want to Z the frame front and rear for the "In the weeds look"!

Here is what I am starting with!

Anybody that has done any of these, chime in and give me some tips!

Did you do the frame yourself or have someone? That's what I'm looking to do to mine.

Mocked up some more parts today to see what I want to do. Just drug more parts out to see what all I might need! I definitely want to chop atleast 3 inches off the top and set it down about 4 inches over the frame.

Its got a ways to go but it is solid as hell and has the original wood inside. It may come up for sale soon but Im sure it wont be cheap. Typical 32 Ford!!!

Built the frame myself. 2x3 box steel with a cut and set kick in the front and a 6" kick in the rear.
