SKS first shoot

We stayed with friends in a cabin in Kentucky this weekend. I put some rounds through my Yugo SKS for the first time since i bought it. It's a blast to shoot, but man is it heavy!! It's amazing to me that troops carry these things in battle. Great zombie killer, though!

They are a good rifle fun to shoot. If you think that sucker is heavy I have a Korean war M1 Garand you should shoot.

I like my SKS. I think it's Romanian but I'd have to check. Apparently, they're much like the AKs in quality depending on where the gun was made. Lots of goodies out there for them to.

I was considering selling it to help fund our chinese adoption, but I am reconsidering now!

I think the Yugoslav is one of the better ones. Research it and see.

I miss mine. I bought one at a show when they were a fine a dozen. Still packed in cosmoline. Only paid just over $100. Wish I would have kept it.
