I torqued the rear down, got the wheels back on, added a fuel pressure sensor and put in the 90-92 Camaro driveshaft loop. I just need my driveshaft back so I can put this back on the road to see if all is good.

Spent a little bit of time on it this week. Put in the driveshaft and installed the fuel pressure sensor. I hopefully will be driving it this weekend.

Figured out how to get the speedometer working with the terminator X. I’m going to try a CMOS divider this weekend to see if I can get the tach working. My powersteering pump went last week and I had to put a pressure hose and pump in. I was hoping to run it at Edgewater Saturday but they didn’t open.

Really surprised this fit in here so well.

Working on putting in a LS car water pump and redoing the Downpipe to clear the new fan shroud. The temperature would creep up at idle and either the coolant flow was bad or not enough air going through the radiator. I noticed that the output of the radiator was about parallel with the truck water pump inlet.

I got the Downpipe welded up and went to start the car last night. Didn’t realize the tensioner was not centered with the other pullies and about threw the belt in the garage. I ended up cutting the truck tensioner up to get it aligned. I think I have it centered well now.

Glad you caught it in the garage. That would have sucked on the side if the road.

Finally working on the Volvo again. Putting in a 3400 stall and new lifters. I had a leak coming from the back of the motor that prompted me to take the transmission out.

    Thank you!

I got the transmission mounted which I forgot how much of pain it was. Needed to tilt it with the engine lift to get the right angle.

So I wasn’t able to put the passenger head on completely today(see below to as why). I have new lifters in it.

Scratched my back trying to get from under my car because of too much junk. Made some space by unloading a bunch of scrap metal. Pretty happy about this.

The torque converter, new lifters and new main seal is done. The new lifters made the motor so much more quiet and smooth. Since my last post I redid my serpentine belt setup. The new water pump and trying to use the old tensioner didn’t align well. Currently I’m trying to find out a way to go from the stock 120inch spring rate to 200-300in-lbs in the front. Trying out various springs starting this weekend. I found out 01 Civic springs are 6.72” in diameter and 232in-lb but the height is too short so I have a 94 Toyota 4 runner rear springs on the way. I just converted the rear from 90inch-lb to 250 which now the car isn’t dropping down too much during acceleration.

Cool. Hope the springs solve your problems. I have a thfew sets of coil over springs I need to get rid of from figuring out what rate I needed for the rear. Then I added weight and had to change again! Lol. Hope to see this soon.
