Pulled some parts off to install the motor tonight. Mounts worked out really well. I’ll try to mate the transmission later this week.

I had to get banjo fitting to clear. The 90 degree bends with the transmission cooler kit were too long. I’m still having trouble trying to mate the transmission.

Do those flow the same as the -6 line?

Not really sure but it is -6 line on there. I’m going try a air hammer and try tilting the motor to get the transmission to fit.

I pulled the motor and dropped the transmission. Air hammered for couple hours. I hope that I have clearance this time. Wish I used an air hammer in the first place.

I really hope so! I have wait for weekends to hammer on the car. I really want to move forward on the build.

I’ll connect this to Transmission connectors so I can finish installing the transmission this weekend.

I had more clearance issues where I couldn’t connect the connectors. Air hammer is now one of my favorite tools. Made some more space and also made clearance to get the last transmission bell housing bolt in.

Going to weld a plate to the factory shifter bucket. Going to mount the new shifter on top of it.

Steering shaft hits the exhaust manifold. I found a place that machines small diameter shafts.

Figuring how to mount the new shifter.

It took me weeks of fiddling and positioning to figure out where I liked it best, but it was worth it.

Was it an auto? Im going to have to cut some of the shifter frame
to get it to fit. The Ebrake is way too close. I was hoping to have this installed and positioned by the end of the week.
