Hopefully you can get them taken care of soon. I'd like to see your setup. Sounds like a killer setup. I'm limited with my computer system unless I goto mega squirt. That's why I didn't upgrade my bottom end. Are those Ford 2.3 turbos MAF or Map sensor systems?

My car was a factory 2.3L n/a engine that has mass air. The older 2.3L turbos used a vane style meter that is like a TPS sensor in the signal it puts out. I'm using my stock electronics with a chip and pro m meter. It works really well so far.

That's pretty cool, the Volvo runs a MAF system. I replaced the factory 2.75" diameter one with a 3" one out of a V6 volvo. It gives more wiggle room with tuning more horsepower. I'm not 100 percent how limited I am with the stock system but most people turning under 12 second 1/4 mile end up going Megasquirt on them. I'm not sure if people have better ability to tune Megasquirt than old Volvo ECUs. Anyway it's working for me so far.

Tomorrow I'll hopefully be pulling the car out of the garage with boost leak fixed and brake fiasco taken care of.

Megasquirt is a stand alone system that is tunable, but it depends on which one you get and info can be hard to find to diy tune. Is an aem plugnplay available for it?

I'm not sure on the AEM. I'd have to look. Right now I haven't had a issue with my stock ECU so I haven't looked much. Every once in awhile someone suggest me to convert to a Megasquirt so that is all I know about aftermarket control system for it.

Finally have brakes! I get to drive it tomorrow. I got a motive brake bleeder and it was snap even with 3 bleeders per front caliper and a really odd brake bleed pattern.

I'm going back it down. I'm not sure about running it at that boost level. It is quite fun though.

The 5th transmission is going south so I picked up another one. Fortunately I found one locally. I been talking with turbo Brick owners trying to see how they make their transmissions last with 300+ whp. They gave me info on what they do on adding in extra clutches. I've never rebuilt a transmission before so maybe I'll try it. I'm trying to see if people have had success with adapting a GM auto behind one of these motors also.

I'm in the process of putting in another transmission. I'm on the look out for another one once this one goes. Going to a GM transmission probably next year.

A th350 would probably be more than enough to hold 300 I'd think. Im not sure of the loss between the 350 and 400 though. Also they have different gear ratio's so that may be something to look into also.

350 uses less hp than a 400. A 350 will still take a lot of hp.

All good stuff, the 350 doesn't weigh much more than the current transmission and it looks bit smaller than the 400 so I may not have to sledgehammer the tunnel. My buddy is going to let me use his 3800 stall converter. The TurboBrick guys say you take the stall speed and deduct about 700 rpm on my motor. Right now my stall speed is 3300 which works well. I'll have the transmission in hopefully middle of the week so I can run it Saturday. The old transmission the filter was clogged and mesh was sucked in. Maybe it would still work with new fluid and filter.

I just need to put the crossmember on, put transmission fluid in and set the kickdown cable on the 6th transmission . Hope it's a strong one. If things work right I'll run it Saturday. Takes me 1 hour to remove it and 3 hours to install it now under jack stands. I would love to have a lift.
