I have a Tremec 3550 5 speed transmission with a Pro 5.0 short shifter for sale. The output shaft on this transmission will need replaced as the yolk on the driveshaft broke and tweaked the output shaft at the same time. The output shaft is the know weakness of the 3550 transmission. The runout was measure at .020" and is out of spec. The transmission would work fine as is, but you'd more than likely have vibration issues in the upper gears. All gears engage like they should and this came out of a running driving car. Exact mileage is unknown, but cannot have more than 5-6k street miles. My plans were to upgrade to a 31 spline output shaft and 26 spline input shaft and run this in my car. I, however, do not have the time to complete this project.
I do NOT have a bellhousing for this. 10 spline input shaft. Standard 3550 gear ratios.
$350 picked up FIRM in MASON, OHIO. The Pro 5.0 shifter alone is $170 new. Will NOT seperate. I do NOT need to sell this. I hate to sound like a dick, but I'm not taking any money off because you're coming from China and I'm not loading this thing back up in my car.
