I'm not sure when I'm going to do the conversion. I'm being told I have to tow my car to get it aligned cause it'll be off so badly.

Oh ok. So not as simple as just bolting them on.

And yet another snag. My shop isn't familiar with tuning 6l80's. He wants to be 100% sure everything is perfect before tuning it. I may have a shop that'll cut me a deal on tuning and some parts on a 6l80. I've also been thinking of going powerglide and let this thing eat. My only concern is I'll end up hating it on the street. With that said. I did get my 15" wheels on.

I've owned Mustangs for 20+ years and I might of used the backseat for transportation maybe 10 times lol.

Between my wife and kids, we use it a lot. They always want to go with us on the cruises.

You're probably better off with a back seat.

Thanks to a few convincing members I've decided to switch to a powerglide and let this thing eat. No point of spending all this money if I can only use half of the power. Anyway here's a post for motor Monday.

You certainly chose the right trans and builder if you're going glide. There are some nasty nasty cars running rpm stuff.

Id like to have one of their TH400 set ups for the Cobra. But it sounds like your going the right direction!
