If it allowed me to get my hands in the engine bay? It would be totally worth it.
Besides, a Vette with 600 or 1000 HP; going to run the same at the track

I ordered some custom vents to try out. They fit perfect. Im going to have them painted to match the car. Hopefullykeep the engine temps down.
They look good, were you having engine temp issues?

It would get to 215 if i got stuck in traffic on a 95 degree day. Just trying to prevent a future issue. I have a few more tricks i can do. Im going to cut the bumper support so its not blocking half the intercooler. Then im going to box it in making it stronger than before. It'll have to wait cause the car goes into tuning the 16th.

It's been a long wait. Too bad they couldn't get me in before the shootout. Maybe its a good thing. Im either going to break record or break parts.
If your luck is like mine, it will be parts!
I wish I could've been out more this year. Its been a rough one.

Man since I bought the house, I haven't had much time or money to do anything else. I haven't done anything to it but change the plugs this year!

I ended up taking Unreal and Nino S' advice and cut my bumper support to allow more air to reach the intercooler and radiator. I have 3/16" or 1/4" steel plate at work. Im going to weld it into the open areas. It'll be allot stronger than before.
Then I put it on the ground and loaded it to get tuned.
Bye bye
Should make well north of a couple hundred horses Id say!!!
The bumper was huge! Im sure that will help out a lot!

Especially with the front facia and fenders out of the way. It should stay really cool for the summer. If it was my car though i would rather have fenders but knock the boost down a little.

The front bumper is off so they can put it on the dyno. Made it easier to put on the tow truck too. The carbon splitter for it was $2,000 and I don't want to replace that. Its too low to the ground to chance it. The fenders are off because the ecu, meth injection, coil packs and wires are all hidden in the fender. If there's a wiring issue. Its right out in the open. No reason to pay someone to take the fenders back off and possibly damaging them. They are going back on the car.
I think my sarcasm was lost in the text.
