Well, I got my ass handed to me twice last night. First, Brian and I raced, and that cobra is fast, let me tell ya. I treed him and that lasted 60ft. We were neck and neck till just before the 1/8 and he pulled away from me. My converter is absolutely trash now as the shift light stayed on the entire pass and it sounded like a go cart with a 1 speed trans going down the track. Next up 2 tone and I raced. He called me out but said if I didnt want to race because of the converter, we could wait a week. I said no, I'm here to race so we went up. Two track oil downs later, we got to race. I turned on my first light, started to build boost, and he turned on both his lights. I built boost and started bumping into the second light. Light comes on and so does the red light! WTF?! I already lost. Starter with too happy of a trigger finger. Mental note to remind them not to push the button till I'm in both bulbs. Sheesh. He would have won anyway, but thats not the point. It was a good race but it was over at the tree. Still a lot of fun and the adrenaline rush is unreal. If you havent tried it, you've got to give it a shot.
Congratulations to last night winners.
