    Clutch noise

I have replaced the throw out bearing 3 times, I put the transmission in last night pushed in the clutch to start the car started it and wouldn't you know it same noise. It has a Fidenza clutch kit with aluminum flywheel. When you let the clutch out the noise goes away. Any help is appreciated, thanks

When you put a little bit of pressure on the clutch pedal does it go away? Sounds like the pilot bearing if so.

What kind of TOB are you using? Always use Ford TOB's.

It don't make any noise when there is no pressure on the clutch pedal.

Usually if its the TOB it will go away with a little pressure. The pilot bearing seems to make noise all the time from my experience. How did the bearing retainer look when the tranny was out?

The retainer looked good, it even has a steel one already. It does whine in reverse and will sometimes pop out of 3rd and 5th.

Ok, so I had a buddy of mine come over and look at the car, and he found the the inspection cover was hitting the weight on the flywheel, so we took it over to his house and put it on his lift and fixed the noise. I will still need it rebuilt but it will get me by for a bit.
