    Turbo question

Don't know much about turbo setups but considering going that route. Current motor 351 base, 10.5:1 compression, scat forged crank, forged Pistons. Wanting to run a blow through e85 single turbo setup. Going off of those basic specs do you think a lower boost setup would work without tearing shit up?

Really depends on boost level and tune, but it can be done safely. What are your goals for the car ? Is the car carbureted or injected now ? Turbo forums would be a good resource for you.

Awesome I will jump on a turbo forum and check, it's carbed and is going to be street driven with occasional track time. I'm thinking around 12 pounds of boost

Check out theturboforums.com . Lots of good info on there. How much power are you looking to make? You can run plenty of boost on a 10.5:1 motor on a blow threw E85 turbo combo. I run ~20# on my 11.5:1 efi 347 on E85. Spend the $$ on a good blow threw e85 carb the first time if that's the way you want to go.
