Maiden passes today 11.587@124.36 - on a 1.83 60ft, and 11.350@125.10 - on a 1.825 60ft. Leaving easy getting to know the car. First pass the car got squirrely going into 3rd and pedalled slightly. Second pass held in the pit lane in third and went. Need to leave a little more aggressive to get 60ft down. Either way a new low ET for me. I'm happy. Now springs, 50/50 Lakewoods (here at the house) and maybe even a Circle D 258mm 2C stall converter before year end...

What tires are you running Chad?

Even if you could get the 60ft down in the 1.60 range, I think it will go 10's. That would be bad ass!

Running the ET Street Radial II's (295-45-17/27" tire) Brian. I was leaving the line at about half throttle trying to see how the car would respond as well. I am looking to replacing them with a pair of MT ET Street R series in a 28" (305-45-17). Brian at Finishline says they are making great traction for Terry's 15 before he sold them so I figure for now I will stay with a 17". I just need to sell the 154x10's I have in the garage so I can buy a pair of 15x8's. I also think I need a little taller tire because the car actually shifted into fifth before crossing the line.

Great time Chad! Did they say anything about going under a 11.5 without a cage?

What's it take to make a 15 inch wheel fit on those? That would be the way to go with a 28 inch tire. I'm sure you'll get it there though.

15X8 will fit with no modifications. 5.3"(134mm) BS with a +19mm offset. I'm not going to put a 15x10 on it.

Can't remember what his tire setup is. Right now I am focusing on suspension for the most part. $100 in springs which I want either way to lower the back end and $120 for shocks is cheaper than one tire since I still have life in the ones I have. Worse to worse I will buy a whiteline sway bar kit, lop the ears off where the factory sway bar mounts and run 15x10's if that is what it takes.

I know what ya mean! The suspension will make a big difference.
