    92 Notch Coyote Turbo Project

Well, as I've hinted around about on the forums, I've put a coyote in my 92 race car, formerly the real street car, getting it ready to go race in coyote modified. That is, if the class still exists after I finally get the damn thing done. Here's the car:

    When it was freshly painted:

It's been in storage and sitting around for a few years. Spent a few months at Zimmer's getting the turbo kit done and getting a set of long tubes for the blower car done up as well. Stuff turned out really nice:

These are the last two engines we bought. One is burned up, one is low mileage in great shape. Kinda got two for one out of this yard in Kentucky. Great guy to deal with. We set the low mileage one down into my car with a boss intake on it for us to use as a mock up for the headers and turbo kit.

This was my car with the coyote set down in it. We were getting it ready for it's next stop to Jason's house where it would be for a little while.

I'm using holley efi to control it, haven't gotten those parts yet. Turbo is a huge mutha that is custom built for the coyote modified class. We've decided to use the new engine in my car with the turbo so we can keep the power turned down for the tremec to live. Hoping to make some passes early this year. I will keep posting stuff up as it progresses. Heads are ported and 5 angle valve job done, so just need to assemble the heads and install them on the shortlbock.

That boss intake looks kind of familiar. Lol did you happen to score that one from a guy in Franklin?

Good eye! It was just setting down in there on the pan. We had to cut the pan and put duct tape on the pan to get it to clear the Kmember, since it was a truck pan. lol. Jason made some killer mounts for it, so it's level now. I'll have more pics as we progress. I need to assemble the heads now, so look for pics of the shortblock and heads coming soon.
