It was a fun time even with some of the ignorance that took place.

Thanks guys. Brian it was fun, but like Shayne said it was the most ill organized day I have yet to experience. I will run True Class events again next year but I will NOT compete at BG again. Making a test pass at 5:00pm or there about in front of several thousand (the stands were packed) was cool. But the track was being evil to cars as well. Lots of breaks.

Given the rainout on Friday, large turnout for a lot of classes, and all the extra classes for Finals that other events don't have it actually went pretty well.

I think they did the best they could given the circumstances. Track prep was awesome. My busted trac Loc was not so awesome.

Congrats are definitely of the highest order!, that "long fight" happened with different transmissions, varying weather conditions that didn't yield a quicker et but on paper should have, various tracks both in state and out of state that were known to hook well but didn't yield the number. And it all comes down to getting that 9 second pass on your home track! your determination and sticktoitiveness is rare as many would have given up or just thrown more power at it in frustration.
Glad to see you reach your goal, I know it meant a lot to you!......Congrats again Shannon!

    Peace
