    3.73 to 4.30?

Getting ready to do some drivetrain upgrades and wondering how much I would benefit or hate changing from 3.73 to 4.30s. Car is SN95 with HCI carbed 302. I am ditching the T5 for a TKO 600 with 0.64 OD and about to upgrade the rear end to 31 spline axles/ trac lok. Car is a weekend warrior and hope to run a few UMTR races this summer. Would it be worth swapping the current 3.73 to 4.30?

What RPM range and rear tire size?

Id think the 4.30 would help it out.

Depending on rpm range and tire size, a 4.10 or 4.30 would help it out.

Steve is running a very similar drivetrain setup (minus the fact he has a 349 stroker) and he runs a 4.30, and I believe he's at the upper end of 4th at the stripe. But it's been a while since he's raced, with his shoulder injury and all, so my memory is a little fuzzy on the details. Might wanna text him or message him on FB.

What kind of power are you putting down?
