On 3 70mm journal bearing turbo

Is anyone currently running or have you ran this turbo, I plan on buying the kit in a couple days but keep getting mixed reviews on the 70

The word is, that the kit is decent but the turbo itself is hit or miss. They sort of scare me.

Rick I think it's actually switched. I'm finding that the turbos are decent but the fitment on the kits is poor. The rumor is the turbos are made in the same factory as Magnum and turbonetics.

Unless things have improved recently, I don't know. With the kits you have to take into consideration that not everyone is capable of using basic hand tools but they think they can build a car. Google on3 turbo problems for a long nights read. There's always a market for cheap stuff but you do get what you pay for.

I talked to Jason Zimmers tonight and he was telling me he recently did an on3 install that required him to cut and modify a new kit to fit. Even if you have to modify the kit it will still be cheaper than paying someone to make you a kit. I'm going to try an on3 7875 turbo on the cobra. It's probably not going to make the power I want but for 350 I'm going to give it a shot.

Rick apparently things have improved since they switched to the company in Brazil. They're the same as Magnum and turbonetics turbos. I didn't want to use the on3 but Jason convinced me they're decent turbos now so I bought one. I'm sure it will not make the power of a nice billet precision but if it gets me close I'll try it.

I guess it's a plus the turbo's are better. It would suck having to pay someone to modify the kit, when it should be a bolt on. I wonder if B&G are still making kits?

Some fitment issues, turbo seems to be decent I've ran two of these kits,90% of the reviews you will find on the kit online are from like 4-5 years ago.for the money there decent kits and I believe they have improved a ton from where they started.

My buddy is running their 75 mm turbo and it has been great, but he is only running 13 psi. He has ran an10.95 @ 127 with a stock 350 in a S10.

My kit just arrived last Friday so hopefully I can get everything on the car shortly, it might take me a little while I have to be careful around the new paint.
