    NMRA Bowling Green 9/29 - 10/2

I plan on going to the event. Will be driving down after my kids football game on Friday night. Anyone else planning on going? Probably will be racing in True Street , Bracket and either Super Stang or Modular Muscle. Booked hotel as well since I generally just drive my car down.

    Anyone else going?

My plans are to be a part of True Street again. Got my feet wet at NRMA Hebron so I am planning on being there. Hopefully get a hauler and go that route, vice the 54 hour risk of breaking down and a long tow home. Don't foresee any issues, but everything mechanical fails sooner or later.

WEATHER DEPENDING. Also depends on vacation time left.

I''m headed down Thursday morning as long as there is no rain in the forecast like last year. It was not fun waiting around in the rain for 3 days to get 2 passes in before loading up and heading home at 8:00 on Sunday evening.

That will also include grudge racing entry on Saturday evening if they are having that at BG like they did at Hebron. It took some arguing at the awards meeting by some die hards but they gave in and agreed.

I'm going either way but I'm trying to have the car ready. Brian (Ibstrokin) said he'd pull me down there, if I can line up a trailer. We'll see how much I can get done between now and then.

I'm going down to spectate Friday and Saturday. Haven't been in a few years. Hopefully they have a good car count.

We have a frickin family reunion on the 1st. I am doing my best to get out of it, but my wife isn't giving any. Finally got the car into the 10's and now the MRS wants to hold me to a family event that was scheduled after I had already noted this event on our calendar. Marriage sucks on rare occasions like this!

Nope. I've been to KK TT, E20 TT, and National Trail for NMRA true street and never been questioned on it yet. Ran sub 11.50 at each location. I thought maybe the car falls under later model chassis safety guidelines but I don't know. I guess it depends on how each track interprets the rules. It just snuck into the 10's (10.916) on the second pass of the night then ran 11.010 in the last pass with a short cool down of about 20 minutes.
