Exclamation 2016 Dirty Dozen Challenge Shoot-Out

It's getting close to that time folks! We are looking at doing this on Oct. 14th at E20, with the 21st as the rainout date. The venue can be changed to Kil Kare, and the date to the 13th, with the rainout being the 20th, if that's what the majority wants. Kil Kare typically has better track prep but E20 is quite a bit closer for a lot of you. Let us know where you'd prefer to run at. We are looking to have a cash drawing again and possibly some other prizes/swag. Hoping to see a lot of 'Bangerz out there having a good time and tearing it up! (not literally) Here are a few rules for the night, same as last year, so if you ran this last year you know what to expect.

    1. Anyone not at the shoot out risks losing their spot.
    2. All challenges at the shoot-out must be raced that evening, refuse a challenge and lose your spot.
    3. Open to all list participants and all challengers that are on the board and have tags and insurance.
    4. Challenge anyone at any spot on the list, if you win, you take their spot and the loser moves down a spot, and bumps everyone below.
    5. The challenged member gets to call the coin flip for lane choice.
    6. For the guys that are really fast and don't have a cage, work with them on running 1/8 mile if possible.
    7. The cash pot drawing happens at the end of the race night and only for those who are present and on the list.
    8. Run heads up.
    9. The race coordinator's say is final. He will flip the coin, he calls who gets lane choice by the flip, hears the choice and places the cars, he also calls the winners of the races. The coordinator has a co-coordinator that will call his races and flips.
    10. At the end of the night, after the drawing, the list is frozen til next spring when the first track opens, then it starts all over again!
    11. Have fun! Race! Get our name out there! Be safe!

Good luck to all and let's have some fun!

As much as I like Kilkare's track surface and how its closer for me, I think the chance of pulling it off there is impossible. Id have to say Edgewater is the place to go.

Ill be there for sure either way. It was a good time last year for those that didn't make it.

E20 I agree as well. Would gladly do KK if they would only open their eyes to running a Friday night TT. And like Brian mentioned, I don;t know how we;d get it done at KK with the extreme favoritism given to bracket racers. We sat over 2 hours this spring in line as the track allowed bracket racers to make 2-3 passes before opening our lanes for the first pass.

10/14 will work. I believe the cash drawing should be held off until the Cruise In in Sunday 10/16 and all 12 finalist required to be present for the drawing.

The problem with waiting on the drawing till the cruise is that some that are at the track won't be at the cruise and some at the cruise won't be at the track.

I'll be there. You can count on that. Axletubes are welded up, replaced the axle and carrier bearings (THANKS S&M MOTORSPORTS! YOU ROCK ADAM!), and car is looking to ingest some thousand foot air. Probably will get shut down at the first 10.9x pass since I was warned to slow it down or park it last time I was down. I'll save that pass for a last ditch effort to stay on the list. Got to swing buy Adam's and pay him his just deserved presidents since its just a little off the path on the way there Friday night.
