Tuner confirmed it - converter slip in 4th gear

So seeing converter slip in 4th gear - what should i check? I have a new pan that holds 2 more quarts of tranny fluid to install with a new filter and dipstick but wondering if it is the converter or something else. Any ideas?

Circle D is on back order on parts for the 5R55S and has been for the last 4 months. Otherwise I would have one.

Got the new pan installed and filled with 5 quarts of Redline fluid. It holds 2 more quarts now than before. Feels like it is shifting better as well. Hope to maybe make a few passes on Thursday at Kilkare before NMRA as long as weather and crowds are not too hateful.

Did have black sludge in the old pan on the magnet. Is that normal or should I be concerned? Fluid was fine and did not smell burnt or anything.

Okay. Cool . I did some google research and the sludge is from the clutch packs from what I read. Just wanted to confirm that is nothing to worry about. It's still sad that pan is under the car though - it was a nice looking piece.
