    E20 - 9/23/2016 - First TT of Fall

Two of us will be at E20 Friday night running for a spot on the Challenge list. I've tweaked on mine a little so I also need to make a datalog pass. Anyone else coming down?

First time out last night in about 3 weeks. Pulled the cats off the car and swapped exhaust to GT500 mufflers...YAY! No more Roush! Car was pretty consistent and ran over all avg lower in 2300-2800DA. 11.03@127 on a 1.66, 10.92@128 on an 1.64, and 10.91@127.5 on a 1.61. 1/8th were 7.15@100, 7.07@101, and 7.05@100. Got warned to keep it above 10.99 since I don't have a cage. Guess that's next if I want it to go deeper next year. Suppose safety harness will also be needed.

That's awesome Chad! And knowing it has a lot left makes it even better!

    Nice Chad !!!
How do you like the Gt500's mufflers with no cats ? I have Gt500s with cats and debating on going to cat deletes...wasn't sure if it would be too loud though ?

    Thanks!

Pull them off Scott. They have less interior noise wo cats than my Roush had with cats. But they have tone when you stand on them. Mine aren't fully broken in yet (two days old and three passes) but I am very happy with the result. AND there is hardly any exhaust odor increase with the cats off.

Thanks Brian. Sure wish you were going to BG but I understand.

I'll lose the 10th and be back in the 11's when I get the roll bar installed because of the weight. LOL! I'm gonna be easy with it as I can at E20 on the 14th, but I plan on making one all out pass in hopefully really nice air just to see if it goes 10.8x.

Thanks Joe. Last night solidified the 10.91 pass back in August was not a fluke.
