Nice. I have a MK III SS with Bull barrel and target grips I picked up from a guy last year. Shoots like a dream. Its a 2011 model.

    Congrats Jim,
Have a mark II and a Mark III... Fun to shoot, those are the pistols I start new shooters with..
Hard/tricky to clean though. I hear the new ones are easy....

    Hi Steve,
Easy isn't the word. You push the take down button on the back of the pistol and the gun comes apart. No tools needed. Goes back together just as easy. This gun is a game changer. I have a Mark II, I like it, but with this new Mark IV, I will probably sell the Mark II.

A little follow-up on my new shooter. Like cars, I can't leave guns well enough alone.
So far I have added a Halo charging ring, a Hi Viz FO front sight and a "V" notch rear sight. I got a pair of genuine walnut grips (rt. grip has a cool thumb rest).
The Coup De Gras will be the Volquartsen Accurizing Kit I have on order. Like I said, like my car, I like to make my gun my own, and just a little bit better.

Sounds good may look into the kit for mine...
Cleaned my mkIII pain in the butt to put back together...
Finally found a video that helped get it back together..

Yea, I loved my old Mark II, but I just couldn't handle the pain of disassembly & assembly any more. I bought the MKII new about 20 years ago and sold it for over twice what I paid for it. Take it from me, the Mark IV is a game changer.
