    Clutch information

I am going to be buying a new clutch this week and i would like to try something new. I had a centerforce dual friction that held up ok without nitrous and then it went away pretty quick. Stepped to a CEnterforce LMC and it was a little too grabby when launching. Trying to gather info so i dont waste my money. If somebody has a setup that really works on track days that is what i am looking for.

Car is a ~3000 lb 1997 Cobra 3.73 gears, tko600 so it has a tall first gear, primarily track driven car. Runs low 11s on nitrous and mid 12s without.

Anything that will handle that launch will feel grabby. I used a spec stg 3+ in my race car and street car. I thought they felt great and worked well, but others hate them. Clutxh selection is a personal preference it seems. Get with me.

I am leaning toward a spec 2+ or a Ram adjustable.

I love all the love for Spec, makes me feel better about what I selected for my car. I picked a Spec 3+ for my swap with the intent that it will see more power in the near future and I wont have to swap clutches when I do it.
