    Proud Dad moment!!

My daughter is graduating the 8th grade! To celebrate, the school let them have a small, 8th grade only dance. She asked if I would take her and drop her off in the Mustang! I was super happy. She then asked if we could do a burnout as well!!

When I got home, I went ahead and put the slicks back on as I was headed to E2O in the morning to race withh teh UMTR.

After a couple shitty hits, I guessed my dial in and drew this cool old Chevelle.

    Then this was the result...

I really need to gets this car dialed in as driving it back and forth 300 miles in one day, after all day at the track, sucks balls.

    Stock tubs still?

My rear end has been cut down 2.5 inches per side and my wheels are the same with 4 inch BS. Just trying to see what I can get away with. You have the coil over spring in the stock location?

Every day is a good day when you can get them out and drive them! I need to get mine out and drive it before I start tearing it apart.

I got around to putting the "street" tires back on and man, I sure did miss the spirited driving on the highway and backroads!

The drive back to work, after I picked the Mustang up from home, was too short, or I was just driving too fast.

I figured, the Nova is off the lift, so I decided to go over the bolts on the underside of the Stang.

Im also thinking about Powder Coating the Drag Rims since they are off.

and Im also thinking of PC the Polished rims as well, since I cant leave anything alone, but Im not sure what color or finish.

I should probably just leave it alone...

I really like the polished look of the street wheels. Do something wild on the drag wheels and leave the street wheels alone?

Another night in the garage....funny I say that like Ive been out there everynight.

My 14 1/2 year old dog, puked on the carpet a couple times, so we had the carpet cleaners come out an douche it. Not sure why they couldnt clean it in the house, but I wasnt complaining.

Anywho, got the old slicks off the rims and when I find some time, Ill head over to the PC guy and see what I can come up with.

I also got the drivers side seat out and I plan a visit to my local upholstery shop at lunch

Anywho, not much else going on. Kinda bored with it and thought about looking at trades, but Im not sure what I would want, so Ill just keep on keeping on. Maybe once it cools off a bit, Ill get motivated with it again. Ehh, who knows....

Im on the fence with these. I was thinking the fronts would be all gold, but then I picked them up in person.

Im going to mount the front tires with the blackwall out, and then I can mount the slicks myself, so I should have these on the car tonight to form my opinion on them. Either way, I was and still am bored with the black.
