I met Adam, from my friends list on FB, and he told me to bring the trans on over. We unloaded it an he immediately tore into it.

How about that, 3rd gear is gone.

Parts are ordered today, and I should have it back next week!

Wow, nice work! Should be a pretty straightforward repair as long as parts are available.

I received this in the mail the other day. Im hoping it helps the transmission live longer as it suppose to "soften" the hit or launch.

Not a lot of options on where I can mount it.

But changing out the braided lines to the Black braided helps blend it in.

Got the relays for it mounted up.

Pulled the seat so that I could get under the dash easier...

so that I can make a couple mounts for 2 micro switches. One will activate the 2 step (im taking it off the shifter handle) and the other with De-activate the Tamer.

My replacement parts are being held in hostage in Bumfuckville Illinois due to civil un-rest, so Im not sure if I will make the UMTR race this Saturday.

Busy, Hot night in the garage last night.

Easiest way to work under here, remove the seat.

Some misc brackets from Lowes and some micro switches from Amazon...

came up with this setup. This will turn off the tamer.

and this one will activate the 2-step

Adam was also busy last night, as my parts were finally released from "Civil Unrest" quarantine.

Looks like me racing this Saturday comes down to Republic Diesel as they are fixing my DS that I had to Beat the Shit out of to get it out. I ordered a new slip yoke, rear u-joint end, u-joints and balancing. They had to order the yoke, so I got my fingers crossed as the weather is suppose to be awesome!

Anyone else running UMTR this Saturday at E2O?

Cruise in at my farm as well. Hope you make it. Buy a Mark Williams billet yoke. You'll never need another.

Found my last 12v Switched wire I needed to activate the Tamer...

spliced it in and then ran the 2 wires needed over to the shifter area and put the carpet back down.

Hopefully Ill have someone come over after work to give me a hand getting this installed. 10 years ago, I could probably have done it by myself, but Im smarter now and employ help.

DS is finished, but I think Im going to get a call from UMTR that my Tamer is Illegal...which in turn will defeat the whole purpose of building a stick car.

Oh well, Ill wait and see what happens.
