Cam is making some progress on the Mustang and sent me some pics.

He is going to run the 3" thru here...

    IC mounted up!

Ive learned to NEVER tell a Painter, or Chassis guy that Im not in a hurry, but with my Chevy II project going on, I really dont have the room for both cars in my garage....so I told him, Take your time.

Of course, hes now in a hurry to get it knocked out as he has other cars waiting to get in.

    Thanks!

Cam sent me this pic over the weekend...

I think Im going to have him weld on some -16 or -20 fiitings on to the radiator and switch out the hoses. It will make for better routing and there will be no instance where the hose can be blown off.

I got to see the Mustang in person this am and Im thrilled with the progress!

Not alot of new pics, but I snapped some anyway.

Cam plans on cutting the TB and then welding on the Vibrant band clamp assembly. I asked if we could cut it at an angle so that the tube isnt pointing skyward.

These 2 holes dont line up very well, so we are going to drill the flange out and we should be good to go.

We also found that the steering shaft was hitting the rear tube; hopefully we can just shorten the shaft on the column and then re-align it.

The 3" DP will run through the K-member eng mount. Its gioing to be tight, but it will actually be a solid 3" piece with 2 V-bands welded on.

We might have to fab up a partial -10 (1/2") hardline for the drainback line, into the -10 bung on the drivers side oil pan.

I bought some -16 adapters for the radiator lines, so hopefully those allow some more clearance as well.

    Thanks for tuning in!!

Got my new intake in today.

Had some clearance issues with the adapter and TB,

So Cam broke out the grinder.

So while he was fiing that, I snapped some more pics of the build.

My Blue Chevy II is still spread out over my 2 car garage, so Im in no hurry at all for Cam to get this finished up. Im anxious to get back behind the wheel, but it will happen when it happens.

    Thanks for tunig in.

I really, really like that new holley intake. I may swap out the Sniper for one of those, and then portmatch it to the heads. Car is coming along nicely. Good to see it moving along, sorry to see that beautiful paint ground off, but progress nonetheless.

The Mustang is still at the shop (which is fine as Im not done with my Blue car) but Cam sent me some updated pics.

No stupid ass front bumper exhaust exit here.

Hopefully he will be starting on the 10 point here soon.
