That sucks. Sorry, I thought you meant everything dead. Paul will get you hooked up for sure. Wish i knew exactly where he lives. I'd love to run over and see the car. I know he isn't far from me...or at least wasn't. Just never was at his place though he's been to mine.

    Its ALIVE!!

I received the wrong tune file, so Im sure it will run a lot better when I load in the correct tune.

Huge Thank you to my dude Paul! He figured out a couple things I missed and a couple things I would not have found in the original wiring.
Its already back at my garage so that I can tidy up the wiring under the dash and get the interior back in. Hopefully, I have it ready to data-log sometime this week.

Last night was a long night, working in the interior of the car. I could swear I was in and out of the car 100000000 times and my back is feeling it today. Well that and the fact that I was up till 3am, probably has something to do with it.

Anywho....all that work, and this is what I have to show for it.

    A High Rent, Shifter boot.

What you cant see, is all the wiring, neatly tucked up and secured off the floor. Crazy how long that shit takes. I can plumb a fuel system in HALF the time it takes to cut and splice wires.

Cool! But Im sure those are like trying to find a needle in a haystack. Hell, I just overpaid for a radio delete panel as I couldnt find one for a deal.

Hey Craig, not sure if you've found the console delete shifter bezel yet but if not, you might want to give these guys a call. They have a ton of fox mustang stuff and I'm betting they have what you're looking for.

No website, he does everything over the phone, might have to try a few times to get through even, but he has a crazy amount of fox parts around so I'm betting he'll have what you need.

Got a few done on the Mustang this weekend, but also encountered a problem. Seems like the Hyd clutch set-up I had fab'd up isnt working at all. So Ill be calling Wilwood today to figure out if Im using the correct master cylinder or if the TOB wasnt installed correctly. Hopefully its something easy...

I also had the windows tinted 20%. Nothing too dark as I hate dark tinted windows and night driving.

I figured I should continue with the interior install as well.

So now, Im just waiting to hear back from Wilwood and once we get that issue figured out, I can then start data logging to get Ken the correct info he needs to finish up the tune!

Still fighting the Hyd clutch set-up not working, but I got some answers from Tilton. Seems like SPEC uses a certain style Diaphragm Pressure Plate, NOT like the 90% of the other PPs out there. So I need a different TOB to use on my Hyd Release Bearing.

    It looks fine.

But here you can see where the TOB was engaging the wrong area of the diaphragm.

Now I just need to figure out how to remove the TOB from the HRB without fugging it up.

I borrowed a trans jack from my buddy and it makes this so much easier!

While its on the lift, Paul, made this temporary Fuse block feed wire. He also told me to upgrade it when I get a chance, so I went with the thicker wire.

Here you can see the difference in the TOBs.

Hopefully I can get this finished up this weekend and get to datalogging. Im excited to see what Ken B can do with the tune!

This is the fist time, in 2 years that the Mustang has moved under its own power. No pushing was involved!!

Heres a short video of me checking the brakes before I head out for a spin around the block.

Untitled by Craig Newport, on Flickr

    Things left to do.

    Get tags for it.
    Get some DOT tires
    Front end alignment
Install rear seat belts and rear seat
Data log it so that Ken can finish the tune.
Put some miles on it so that I can go Beat its eyes out at the track!
