I had a Great time at the Track yesterday, made some hits, but I couldnt get the car off the line. I did get to see Walt and Shannon run some Personal Bests, so that was cool and worth the trip.

I tried to end the year on a high note, but couldnt get it done on this day.
When I built this car, I was hoping for an ET faster than a 11.0. So when I ripped off that 10.59, I was THRILLED!!. I know there is more in it, I just have to get with my chassis guy and see what we can do and get my 60" down.
Oh well, the tracks are closed, and the Stang is now in Storage for the Winter. However, Im looking forward to a SBZ Track day in the Spring, so hopefully the Mods in here can make that happen.

I couldn't get my Cobra to 60 worth a crap. I think the best it went was a 1.46.

Bought the black car from Shannon and my first pass was a 1.38 I think. He has these cars down. Whole different world once they hook and move without blowing the tires off.

    Your rear end narrowed?

I have a few different wheels and tires Id let you try but they are the 6.5 backspacing. I never had any luck on the 26x8.5 with the stick. The best I had was the 26x10 stiff wall mickey and now the 27x10 M&H's.

4 inch backspacing? Love the way they look with less backspacing.

Im kinda over the whole exhaust hanging down, so close to the ground. So I found these...

    CG's SS, Shorty haders!

I talked to my Fab guy and he said that he could "definitely" get me some more ground clearance and possibly find some more HP & TQ!
I mentioned that I like have cold drinks at the track, but I didnt want to lugg around a cooler. So he came up with this...

Freakin Sweet! I will now be able to race at the track, knowing my cans of beverage are safe, Iced and secure in my trunk!! Too COOL!!!
