That's not a typical failure. There is something more going on that generated that...extreme sideloading and/or wobble has been induced to cause that failure. The addition of the rotating load of a centri or PD unit isn't going to cause something like this to happen IMHO. After owning FI setups for more than 12 years now I have never seen that happen.

The setup that caused this will tell the full story. .

Id love to install a Procharger on mine, but I have these 2 just sitting here.

Of course that will lead to a whole bunch of upgrades and more money spent.

^^^ Oh yeah....twin 55's. Will make nice boost and spin up fast. Can't go wrong there...especially when you have them and the tools and place to do it all yourself. Hopefully there will be a track open in the area at some point.

The Joys of Stick Shift Racing! Made 2-1/2 hits on Saturday and had to be towed back to the trailer.

Im ordering a new Trans jack, as Im sure Ill be doing this more often.

This, will be getting some 3" SS V-bands as I was banging on them for an hour trying to get them off the headers.

Ethan snapped a couple decent pics of the Mustang launching

Hopefully, Ill have the trans out tonight and on its way to get fixed tomorrow.

    Yes it was!

It was so nice to get to the track and see people out enjoying the outdoors! Even with a busted trans, I had a Blast and would do and will do it again!
