Thumbs up Great place for a steak-Lonestar Steakhouse

We always liked the Lonestar restaurant on Escort Dr., but they have closed.
It was my birthday last week so I decided to try the Lonestar on Roosevelt Ave. near Middletown. OMG, it was absolutely fantastic. We both had filets, a couple of drinks, the usual trimmings and they even gave me a Birthday brownie-all for $63. The steaks were better than what I have had at the Precinct and a hell of a lot cheaper.

A friend of mine got the seasoning recipe for Lonestar Steaks ... Sprinkle it on and let it sit for at least a half hour and Grill or Broil and it's just like theirs ...

    Great Stuff ...

    Here you go ...

    1.5 tablespoons of Kosher Salt
    2 teaspoons of Brown Sugar
    1/4 teaspoon of Corn Starch
    1/4 teaspoon of Garlic Powder
    1/4 teaspoon of Garlic Salt
    1/4 teaspoon of Onion Powder
    1/4 teaspoon of Tumeric
    1/2 teaspoon of Paprika

I always Quadruple the recipe and put in airtight container ...

    Enjoy
    Aaron
