    PRI Show

I went to the PRI show in Indy this past week. It was a great time as always. Got to meet Chief and Shawn, Dominator, and Monza. Saw reaper unvail his new car, he's freaky looking in person, too. Saw kye kelly and said hi, didn't see his car there tho, or really anyone else's besides murder nova, chief, doc's car, farmtruck and reaper.
But that was all side stuff, my main mission each year is to reinforce old manufacturers and try to get with new ones as well. So this year I became a racestar dealer. I ordered wheels for my grench. Also spoke to a bew piston mfr as well. May just start getting their pistons as an option for customers as well. Holley can now control coyote VVT as well as their DBW. I am leaning towards getting this for my racecar.
All in all it was a great opportunity for me. My wife went with me Saturday to take her mind off things.

I thought about going over to this but decided not to. Would like to have met Farm Truck and Doc. Saw that VMP Performance was unveiling their Gen 3 - 2.65L TVS at that convention. Sure wish I was running forged internals....but that's for another time.

I went on Friday and it was pretty cool. It would have been a lot better with a couple guys.

You have to be an employee of a business in the racing industry to get a pass to get in.

Well, it's supposed to be that way. A friend and myself went one year using someone else's unused passes. They had people checking at the entrance, it wasn't like you could just stroll on in. That was probably 20 years ago now- part of it was in the Hoosier Dome.

So what was your connection to get in Adam if a person has to be a speed shop owner or get a pass from one to go? I will go with you next year if you have the hook up....assuming there still is one.

Chad I used some else's pass for just Friday. I hope I can get ahead of it next year because you really need a day or two. I got their early afternoon so I missed a lot. I'm pretty sure that if you ask a speed shop they can get you a ticket.

I'll have to hit up the guys at Finishline in hopes that they can spare a pass. Sure seems odd that a person would have to be in the business to attend something like that. Plenty of revenue could be generated by enthusiasts seeking to see what is new for 2018.

It's an industry trade show. They aren't trying to sell to individuals, they are trying to sell to business owners.

Gotcha. So it's a Manufacturer seeking distributors type trade show.
