    2018, What-cha got??

Im plugging away on my 84 and hoping it will be out this spring. Id like to see mid 10s ET wise, but just getting it out on the streets would be a big enough goal for me.

Whats everyone wanting to do this year, plans, goals, expectations, with your car?

The Circle D 258 2C is waiting to go in the 3800 lb full weight street car. It ran a best last year of 10.83@131 at E20 (even with the spare in the trunk). With the addition of the stall converter and a little possible massaging of the transmission tuning I am going to conservative hope for 10.70's this year. The addition of some single rear adjustable QA1's or Vikings may also be in the works. My goal on 60ft is 1.50. That should keep me consistently in the 10's for most air conditions. If not, I may pulley down to a 79mm, install some 56# injectors and seek a little bit more torque and HP. Of course a 10.69999999 wouldn't hurt my feelings any.

I plan on trying a new intake manifold for the 4.6 in hopes of preventing any puddling of fuel and subsequent backfires. I really want to see some 10 second slips with my stock long block. 11.01 at our running of the dozen left me a little disappointed. Haha. But with a stock $400 lincoln engine with 160k miles on it i was pleased. I would like to tweak a few things and get to where i can stay ahead of Chad next year instead of watching him walk a car length on me from the 1/8 mile. I enjoyed it Chad... we will do it again i am sure

We were a little closer in ET for a while when you were hovering in the low 11s. Then you took off and left me to play catch up. It is always fun racing with you Chad. We have had some good battles the last couple of years.

4R70W swap going in along with Detroit Locker and Moser Axles - shooting for high 10's - 10.7 or so. Cage right behind it.

You'll blow the welds on the intake! Just kidding those cars love spray. The torque they gain on the sauce is ridiculous. And say goodbye to high iats. My 2.3 car gained like 200 ft lbs on a 175 shot. Try the rxt1200 upgrade before you go auto.

Already swapped the T5 for a TKO600. Keeping the stock bottom end 5.0. Converting to fuel injection and using MS3X. Added a little Borg S366. Hoping to make a few UMTR races this year and see what the budget combo will do.

Just trying to save up for a new blower for my 03 Cobra. I probably won't have it installed till next year. I'm hoping to be able run 11.5-11.9 on my 555R street tires at Edgewater. 12.3 is best I've been able to do on them.

I’m just hoping to get down the track since my first outing with the coyote swap didn’t go well.

I did decided to add aerospace brakes front and rear which with any luck will be on the car this weekend.

It broke the spider gears on the very first pass but I won’t have that issue again. It’s now got a Moser M88 housing, spool, 35 spline gun drilled axles with the pro flange, and 4.56 gears.
