I cant wait to get mine back out come spring. May have another one out too. Just a lot slower!
It was a lot of fun but I had to be more careful than before. Looking forward to warmer weather. Today was amazing after some crazy cold days.
    More of a cruiser on 93? I wouldn’t mind a new eco-boost Mustang as a DD.

I rode in my buddy's and it was impressive for what it is. Just sounds funny!

It’s not good sounding 4 cylinder. It gets good gas mileage and would make the commute little bit more fun.

I have yet to actually pick it up but I am supposed to this weekend. Just a stock block 302 with an On3 kit and C4. Should be a fun car.

I just ordered a pair of 28x10.5/17” slicks for the Cobra. Maybe I can run a ten this year with the current setup. I’ve had 28x10.5/16 on it before years ago which helped me drop a second off my 1/4 then verse the nitto 555rs.

I smoked my clutch pretty badly on two runs. The RST clutch does not like any more than low rpm launches. Looking at the cost on a RXT conversion or another clutch that will take slick launches better. Car still stinks, lol.

That clutch smoke in the video? Car has a lot left once you get it to hook and go. What was the 60ft on that one?

That was a ton of clutch smoke in the video. I made two passes and it stunk so bad. Car still smells from it. It had a 1.66 60 ft. I contacted McLeod and they can convert it into a RXT. I should of probably stopped at one pass. It’s a great clutch and I thank Chad for it. It holds great if it’s engaged and not slipped. Doesn’t like heat much. What clutch did you run in your Cobra. My stock clutch grabbed slick launches better than the RST.

I had the RXT twin disc. I gave the old one to my buddy when I sold it to him. Ill see if he still has it. They will rebuild them for right around 500.

Its hard to beat. The price sucks but its well worth it. I beat the crap out of mine and I know Mikey did as well.

The clutch finally seated after 10 years! The chatter is now gone. I guess beating the heck out of it is what it needed. Now it’s time to update it.

Nice pass given you were having clutch slip. Sorry the clutch didn't hold up for you....but you have to admit that the price was right. LOL! Glad you got some use out of it Joe. Hope to see the car make a 10.XX pass next year. You may wish to look at Mantic (sp?) twin disc if they make one for the Cobra. I had good luck with the single disc Mach series from Exedy. Single disc setup but held up well. They rate based on torque level and not HP. Take care.
