I don't know of anything local. Check out turbobullet classifieds on faceplace. Seems like something decent pops up once a week or more often.

Whoever said I was happy? LOL!

My cars are always for sale. I'm still craving a 13/14 GT500 and should have just held off through the winter and bought one this spring rather than jump on the 17 I picked up. I am missing that shifter, and I really don't have much interest in making passes any more, so the stick shift would be more fun on the street and provide better control at higher HP levels. In drive with the auto at 55-60mph, the downshift is pretty violent and rather unpredictable. I'd rather have control over what gear it is in (and not doing it with eurotrash paddle shift on the S550). Just a fleeting thought. I'm near the age where the car buying experience for fun will have to end if I want to retire, so this may well be my last chance to own a GT500 before I have to start focusing on having only one car after retirement. Enjoy your youth while you can.

That's awesome to be able to have the resources to do that. I should have sold our place years ago and bought a place with a nice garage so I could do more of my own work and have the space to have a second play toy if I was able to swing it.

I never thought another 80-90 RWHP would be such a big difference. The 14 could get away from me, but if it was about 55 or a little warmer out it would wiggle a little bit on a floor boarded down shift on a straight away and go. This car (and its not as pepped up as yours or others) with only the 80-90 more is a night and day difference on a 50 degree road surface. It will jump right out from under me on the same 305's the 14 had.

If spring rolls around and I can trip over a deal on a 13/14GT500 without losing my shirt I may go that route. But I'm not going to give up the farm to make it happen and I'm not doing more than pipe dreaming about it at the moment unless someone happened along and said. "Want to sell your car?".

I still have the Cobra setting out there. Depends on what I get if I keep it or not.

Found a 93 Cobra with a Vortech that Im supposed to go check out this weekend. Boss block 331 and a stick making 650 to the wheel.

Im not looking to get into another mod motor. I know they run real good but Im partial to the pushrod motors. So easy to work on and parts are everywhere.

Ive checked about every FB page out there. Not much going on it seems. Atleast nothing that's standing out.

Good to see you back on here Steve and in another Mustang!!!!

Depends on how things go, I may continue to beat on the Cobra. Maybe a set of cams and a turbo for it... All depends.
