In Car Video from SBZ DD Running of the Dozen 2006

Found an old laptop and found this video on it, along with a bunch of others. I loaded them up on my channel. This brought back a bunch of great memories for me. This is my black coupe not long after I got it together and was still working thru the combination.

Cool to see the car running at Tristate. I miss that place!

Make you anxious to get a stick car back out?

I'm really proud of the light I cut on the last pass racing Chad. I melted the engine down that pass. Whenever Chad, James and I race each other, it's always all out.

    Thanks, means a lot.

Just speaking the downright truth. Looks like a fire breathing dragon stoking his belly with the tire smoke sucking into the hood scoop when you clear the engine just before staging.

Lol, figured out the heads were lifting and breakimg the rear seal on the intake manifold. Once I went to a good block and aluminum heads(these were ported E7 heads I did), this issue went away. 1/2" head studs solved most of the issues. Thanks tho, great description, really does describe the feel of the car. I had the most fun with it set up this way.

^^^ The best time I ever head was that impromptu last minute invite by Maximus late fall 2009 or 2010 when a bunch of us showed up there on a Saturday and just had a blast each trying to run their best. GREAT TIME! The best!
